Meet Our Featured Photographers

Here at Pinhole Pro we’re excited when photographers get excited about our products and what we’re about: clean design, environmental awareness and simplicity.  We created the featured photographer program to recognize Pinhole Pros that are talented and share the same passions about paper and photography as we do.  Meet our newest featured Pinhole Pro Members.

Aaron & Anna Newell Jones

Newell Jones + Jones Photography is a husband and wife photography team based in Denver, Colorado (also available worldwide). We are Anna Newell Jones and Aaron Jones and our specialty is photographing weddings.  We love being able to capture a couple’s love for one another through our work and we feel very grateful that we get the opportunity to document the biggest moments in people’s lives; that is, by far, the best part about being photographers.

We are big fans of the Pinhole Press Premium Photograph Book. We love the quality of the book and the texture of the paper which feels really nice to the touch as you flip through the pages. We have been on the hunt for a company that matches well with our business; one that has a beautiful and clean aesthetic, extremely high quality archival items and a commitment to the environment. We found our match with Pinhole. Pinhole makes our photographs look as great as they should and knowing that our clients memories will be preserved in the best possible way makes us confident and happy to provide this item to our clients.

 Thu Tran

My name is Thu (pronounced like the # 2). I am a lifestyle and event photographer located in the metro-Atlanta area. What can I say, I’m a camera clicking junkie with a short attention span and an affinity for finger puppets. I like to climb and get in very awkward positions when I shoot… I lay down, roll around, scoot, shuffle, dance. You name it. I’m a circus monkey and will go through many lengths to get just the right shot.

I LOVE the Pinhole Press Notepads – they are practical and everyone can use them. I’m a list maker and I love having them around to jot down notes or to make to-do lists. I know my clients can have them at their desk at work or throw them in their bag. They’re fun to look at and I can get maximum exposure without being too obtrusive.

Cat Mayer

After a career in big-city advertising and design, I moved to the mountains of Colorado to slow down, enjoy life, and focus on the fleeting moments of my children’s first few years. When I photographed my first wedding, my heart was hooked.

Now I own a boutique wedding and portrait studio in western Colorado. We photograph regularly in Aspen, Vail, Telluride, and Colorado’s wine country. Our passion is in creating complete collections of photographs that tell our clients’ love stories in beautiful, creative ways. Our work has been featured on Style Me Pretty, The Wedding Chicks, and Couture Colorado, among others.

We get a kick out of working with other creative professionals and businesses on projects that showcase new ideas and promote the work of everyone involved. It’s been a fun and successful way to leverage marketing for the studio. We also contribute to our local community by donating a portion of the studio’s earnings annually to local educational programs that serve children with autism.

Mindy and Cameron Braun

We’re Cameron + Mindy Braun. We live in southwest Ohio, and thanks to the power of the internet we’re able to work all over the world. We’ve been married since 2006 and we have a little boy named Holden and a bulldog named Roxy. We specialize in engagement and wedding photography. The most important and most exciting part of being wedding photographers is the relationships that we’re able to form with each and every one of our couples. Our goal is to build a foundation of trust that allows them to relax and enjoy their wedding. We love our couples, and we consider many of them friends and stay in touch long after their wedding.

We strive to deliver photos that capture who are couples are and that tell their wedding day story in creative and timeless way. We love to have fun while working. We always say we take our job very seriously, but we don’t take ourselves too seriously.”

Smitten & Hooked

Hi, we are Lucy and Steven and we are Smitten & Hooked. Both creativity junkies, comedy buffs and nerds at heart. I started Lucy Parker Photography in 2009 and two years later we decided to make it a joint venture, re-branded and be a husband and wife photography duo. Something we are really excited about! Being photographers for us isn’t work, it is life and something we love and are passionate about.

Smitten & Hooked recently wrote an article about being your brand for the Pinhole Pro Magazine.

Jen May Pastores

Jen May grew up in a world of constant travel and change and carries that into her documentary work and lifestyle. One of her projects highlighted the youth of a drop-in center in Cambodia where she delivered a photography class to over 50 students for a summer which resulted in an photo exhibition in Phnom Penh. This work led to her exhibiting as a resident artist in Philadelphia, PA and as a featured artist in Honolulu, Hawaii and Visalia, CA.

Besides working with the youth she is a wedding and portrait photographer based in Visalia and Los Angeles, CA. She is also the Events Coordinator for Help-Portrait, a non-profit and global movement of photographers using their time, gear and expertise to give back to those in need.

Jen May recently wrote an article her volunteer work in Cambodia for the Pinhole Pro Magazine.
